Ak máte prístup k Amazon.co.uk, odporúčam kúpiť a prečítať túto knihu: Endurance: Shackleton's Incredible Voyage to the Antarctic o Shackletonovi a jeho uviaznutej/stroskotanej výprave. Neuveriteľný príbeh, dobre napísaný, pútavý a, aspoň podľa môjho názoru, "povinná literatúra" pre každého.

Už ma prestalo baviť udržiavať nižšie uvedený zoznam a tak všetku literatúru, ktorú prečítam, mám zorganizovanú na vynikajúcich stránkach Goodreads. Pridajte sa a pošlite mi pokojne aj friendship request, ak sa chcete knižne spojiť. Akosi som poslednou dobou rozčítal a popri dvoch deťoch a práci a príprave na Oracle certifikáciu som stihol za prvé štyri mesiace roku 2013 prečítať 4300 strán z asi 16 rôznych kníh, z čoho som do konca dočítal asi 10.

Zoznam je radený abecedne podľa priezviska autora. Jednotlivé knihy od toho istého autora sú pridávané do zoznamu v poradí, ako som ich prečítal.

V tejto sekcii uvediem len tie odborné knihy, ktoré som so zaťatými zubami prelúskal celé od obálky po obálku (alebo by sa dalo tvrdiť, že som prečítal prevažnú väčšinu z nich). Niekedy keď už sa odhodlám, som schopný čítať aj knihy o programovaní akoby to bola beletria. Knihy, z ktorých čítam len jednotlivé kapitoly či úryvky, tu nebudem uvádzať - to by bol príliš dlhý zoznam.

Toto bola úžasná kniha, ktorú každému vrelo odporúčam. Bol som celkom nový vo svete .NET a C# a po zakúpení tejto knihy a asi štyroch týždňoch lúskania všetkých 1500 strán som sa stal kompetentný .NET vývojár a teraz sa vo svojom zamestnaní venujem výhradne C# projektom. Kniha úžasne, súvisle, precízne a úplne skvelo pokrýva skoro každé zákutie .NET platformy - len stručne, samozrejme, to by inač bolo na tisíce strán - a autor je úplne úžasný. Nechápem ako zvládol takú monštróznu knihu - obsahovo - napísať sám a tak súvisle. Prečítal som všetkých 1500 strán, vynechal som len Appendix a samozrejme Index. Skvelá investícia.

Týchto kníh je tak veľa a tak náhodne ich čítam, raz jednu raz druhú, raz tieto tri kapitoly z tejto, raz tieto dve kapitoly z tamtej... že už to tu nebudem uvádzať. Akurát, že si robím už dlhšiu dobu zálusk na Spring in Action, third edition, no tá nie a nie výjsť na trh. Rozmýšam nad zakúpením early access elektronickej verzie, no 50 dolárov.... a žiadna KNIHA v rukách bohvie dokedy? Neznie lákavo. Spring in Action 3rd edition zakupena, viac-menej aj precitana
