MOOD - Metrics for Object-Oriented Design Measure - a measure provides a quantitative indication of the extent, amount, dimension, capacity, or size of some attribute of a product or process Measurement - the act of determining a measure Metric - a quantitative measure of the degree to which a system, component, or process possesses a given attribute Indicator - a metric or combination of metrics that provides insight into the software process, a software project, or the product itself ilities - term referring to the quality factors of computer software (mainly those defined by ISO 9126), such as Functionality, Reliability, Usability, Portability, etc...
CC - cyclomatic complexity WMC - weighted methods per class DIT - depth of the inheritance tree NOC - number of children CBO - coupling between object classes RFC - response for a class LCOM - lack of cohesion in methods
